The AXIS Foil Plate mount is made with high grade Aluminium, 3d CNCed and anodized. This is not your off the shelf plate mount. This is a beautifully engineered and very stiff piece, designed to hold the mast of your foil tightly and strongly. Multiple holes give you flexibility with positioning on your foil board. And the sliding endings, let you remove the plate by just loosening the screws, w/out having to fully unscrew the M8 bolts from your board.As with all of our products, this plate is Designed in New Zealand.

The AXIS Red Standard Fuselage is a 3D CNC cut anodized aluminium fuselage, length is 765mm long. Incredibly strong connection to any size wings to create a very direct feel from your feet to the front wing, which is the most important part of surf foiling. Please note: you will need the AXIS Mast Adapter aka the Doodad (in 19mm and 16mm), in order to use with the AXIS Foils Aluminium masts. The doodad is not needed when using the AXIS Foils Carbon Masts   Available in multiple sizes for different types of riding. (the longer the fuselage the more stable the ride. The shorter the fuselage the looser and quicker the turning)

The improved volume distribution—especially in the nose—provides greater stability, while the more rounded bottom at the front enhances glide, hence leading to smoother take-offs and touchdowns. Thanks to a slightly wider tail, stability is preserved while the slim outline and parallel rails promote glide and speed during take-off. The step on the bottom near the tail creates a clean break to channel the water flow at the back without generating excessive drag when in motion. The removal of the central step on the bottom, previously in front of the twin-tracks, makes the board compatible with Foil Drives. The overall redesign of the board sheds volume from each board size compared to the first edition. For example, the former 5’10 MIDLENGTH board is equivalent to a 6’2 in this new range, boasting a volume of 95L compared to 120L for the same size previously. The new MIDLENGTH continues to shine in light winds, but many riders will appreciate it in a variety of conditions as these boards don’t feel cumbersome thanks to their narrow width. The reduced width also makes it much easier to carve and lay into turns. These can now be used as SUPs as well by advanced riders looking for agile shapes in waves or short period downwinders. The ROCKET WING MIDLENGTH benefits from an ultra-light Bamboo Deck Construction. Using a layer of bamboo only on the deck, this construction has been optimized to guarantee the board is as light as possible, all while ensuring strength and durability as well. So while ART foils were a game-changer even on our existing masts, we knew there was still huge untapped potential to be realized.And so began a whole new development project, and we couldn’t be more excited at the result. With a new power profile and carefully considered material selection and placement, AXIS Power Carbon delivers both superior stiffness with next-level strength.Opting for a one-piece design, we avoided the flow/drag and jointing issues associated with multi-part mast constructions.Additionally and more importantly, testing proves that maximum loading is concentrated close to the baseplate and this is why the mast tapers thicker at this point to handle the loads.
